Justin, I want to acknowledge excellent work by EIT Orgo Nag on a crossing renewal in Maple Ridge BC.

There is a lumber mill on the south side of the crossing which was facing shutdown for the crossing renewal project. It became a political issue with the Mayor reaching out to me late last week, requesting intervention. As a result, Mr. Nag reached out to the mill owner directly and worked out a plan to keep the crossing accessible while the work was done as previously scheduled yesterday and today. The mill owner was so satisfied with his interaction that he declined media requests for comment. The Mayor was also very impressed and expressed his thanks for Orgo's efforts. The note below from City of Maple Ridge staff speaks for itself.

We have had our challenges with the City of Maple Ridge in the past year. Mr. Nag's effort has provided a pivot, materially improving CP's reputation with the City and our neighbors.

I have already thanked Orgo personally, but wanted you to be aware of his extra effort and the positive outcome.

Sincerely,
Mike.
